birdie Posted March 30, 2010 Report Posted March 30, 2010 THE POWERS THAT BE HAVE TERMINATED THE MEMBERSHIP OF A LONG ESTABLISHED PARTNERSHIP NAMELY J&A STOKES REASON FOR WANTING TO TRY ANOTHER FEDERATION FOR THIS COMING SEASON, THE PARTNERSHIP HAVE 150 YEARS BETWEEN THEM .

Then there should be absolutely no doubt who Jand A Stokes should support in the future.
gulkie Posted March 30, 2010 Report Posted March 30, 2010 no .rule 33 [duel membership of any other fed will invalidate them from lanarkshire fed].
nogin Posted March 30, 2010 Report Posted March 30, 2010 why are they unhappy with the fed their in or do the want to fly in both? WULLIE, THEY'LL STILL BE MEMBER'S OF 2 FEDS, SOUTH LANARKSHIRE AND WHO EVER THEY JOIN :X

nogin Posted March 30, 2010 Report Posted March 30, 2010 gordon the rule iam qouting is from nr lan rule book. IT'S OK WULLIE I KNOW WHAT YOUR SAYING
Guest Gareth Rankin Posted March 30, 2010 Report Posted March 30, 2010 Was at the fed delegate meeting and because of rule 33 they defaulted their membership of Lanarkshire by joining another fed, it was a sad that this has to have happened but the rules in the book have to be adhered to and not bent to suit some. Only place to change this long standing rule is the AGM but don't believe this will ever be passed as it protects the finances of the fed.
rebel Posted March 30, 2010 Report Posted March 30, 2010 have to agree with gareth as the fanciers concerned knew very well about the rule ,at the past fed agm there was not any mention of rule 33 wich makes me think that fanciers in the fed were happy to keep it
budgie Posted March 30, 2010 Report Posted March 30, 2010 Its a sad day but rules are rules.Dual membership with other Federations invalidates membershio of the Lanarkshire Fed.Only members holding dual membership in 1986-1987 are accepted. Can someone explain why this should be :(Clubs applying as new members must comply with this rule within 12 months or they wil also be tossed out

OLDYELLOW Posted March 30, 2010 Report Posted March 30, 2010 surely the federation rule is actualy in breach of human rights , ' the right to attend gatherings '

Hi Fauldhouse have always transported there pigeons to Lanarkshire the man who did this said he would not be doing it anymore The M/F offered to uplift from there premises the vote was 8/6 Racing with the M/F down the west route.
