walterbmasson Posted April 6, 2010 Author Report Posted April 6, 2010 No really gettin it walter! Are u suggesting that we,as members, monitor the weather and then make a collective decision on the lib or are u simply wantin better communication about the weather then let a single controller make the decision? Cheers steven dal2 i tried to post dont know if i was being blocked or not so shut the thing off the north of scotland fed did it last year just off the computer gave you an all round view of the weather worked very well with the depresion moving north very good result
walterbmasson Posted April 6, 2010 Author Report Posted April 6, 2010 there again Gareth i might just say there up just to wynd yous up who knows theres one thing if i did i would be thinking of the north befor libbing so they get a fair crack of the wip at dawn we go ;D ;D ;D 100% right alan just look at results in past noon races 8) 8) 8) 8)
walterbmasson Posted April 6, 2010 Author Report Posted April 6, 2010 When have you ever timed in a national Whats you track record like in national racing (A big Fat Zero) ;D ;D ;D You dont know what your talking about Numty it appears theres a lot that doesent see whats happening what about loosing 2 + hours before a race starts ??) ??)
walterbmasson Posted April 6, 2010 Author Report Posted April 6, 2010 Well if you had been in charge of the National races you would have liberated in conditions that were not suitable at the race point, god help us all ;D ;D weve had some crackers in the past ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D last year ;D ;D ;D ;D
dal2 Posted April 6, 2010 Report Posted April 6, 2010 dal2 i tried to post dont know if i was being blocked or not so shut the thing off the north of scotland fed did it last year just off the computer gave you an all round view of the weather worked very well with the depresion moving north very good result Who made the decision walter? Was it collective or commitee? The bother I have wae this at national level is, as you pointed out, there can be many weather fronts all around. Us down here would no be affected by weather in the central belt upwards and would be wondering why they arent up. Yes common sense would see a lot of fair minded fanciers do the right thing but there would be others wantin them up. At the end of the day there has to be someone tae make the decisions and probably be unpopular wae somebody. Cheers Steven
walterbmasson Posted April 6, 2010 Author Report Posted April 6, 2010 walter why dont you trial your suggestion in your own fed to see how it works say from 200 miles onwards to Hastings jade we have used the computer last year it gave an all round view all directions gave the depresion a good hour came home the last 35miles rain but 100%returns
Guest TAMMY_1 Posted April 6, 2010 Report Posted April 6, 2010 Do your home work Walter, i.e. use (google) Would give you the web addresses but cant because of upgrading to a faster computer, if you do you will find there are webcams either at the town of Liberation or very close and also along the line of flight home. Though at the end of the day nothing beats the words of a fellow fancier who is willing to get up early to help out the race controllers. Spot on here Gareth
walterbmasson Posted April 6, 2010 Author Report Posted April 6, 2010 stephen on a saterday if you put the tv onto channel4 horses it takes you to each race course to let you see what the conditions are a lot of times its unbelievabley good you get the forcast off computer for france again good but birds are still held till 6am or after when they should have been in the sky [ i am no professor but i know holding them back needlessly is not acting as a national and catering for all of the birds so take a long hard look at whats happening

walterbmasson Posted April 6, 2010 Author Report Posted April 6, 2010 gareth ive done my homework just turn the tv on to the morning line and you can see what great viewing they get by phone links your the wise guy if you had a bird entered into a 600miles race you would be the first to ask why the birds are not let up if if if weather is right this mobile age can do just that

Your seem hell bent at getting liberations for 5.00 in the morning which borders you on being psychotic , tell me Walter how many races in 2009 would you have had liberated the pigeons earlier if you had been in charge of the SNFC pigeons?????????????????????????????????????????? Give as much detail as possible please. :-/ :-/ :-/

Guest Gareth Rankin Posted April 6, 2010 Report Posted April 6, 2010 Bigda, bLACK WF and Walter you have both at some point said that plenty 04.30 liberations have taken part by other organisations, please name them, if you dont watch it the men in the white coats will be coming for you.
