Was really looking forward to this weekend of racing as we have our longest fed race 460+ mls from Battle, ypres 498mls and Ancenis 701 mls both with the SNFC but the weather looks like it is trying to scupper things.

I have 8 at the 460+ mls race, 6 at Ypres,498mls and 2 at Ancenis 701mls, can it get any more exciting, win, lose or draw. Was hoping they would all go up on saturday but doesn't look likely.

How many have sent to both ypres and ancenis?

The gold cup is the premier race but this has to be the premier weekend of racing surely??

Just wish there was an easy way of sending pigeons to the barcelona international! If so I would send.

Surely all the scots real distance enthusiasts (600+mls) would be interested??

At ancenis 679. Was speaking to mike main and

Mike mooney last night at marking aboot

Some of the birds clocked up here from extreme

distance. Wilson noble,Abby Bruce,Gurney Gibb

etc. would love to hae a go at that

We sent 4 to ypres 460 1to ancenis first time trying the longest race 602 miles good luck im getting excited now hope we get a good steady race to give birds every chance to get home

Nearest Barcelona marking is Carslisle BBC marking station. Hopefully it is still open and covering Barcelona. I will find out for you for next year or give you a contact on BBC Committee.

Frank, did you not organise a courier to take them for Saintes one year? Perhaps Saltire could link with High Fliers (UK Drivers) and get them to marking. Another alternative, courier them to a Barcelona flier to tend and send when his go.

Yes the guy lived in Crew it was UK couriers he was great with us but sadly not trading now
