Kennybhoy Posted May 27, 2014 Report Posted May 27, 2014 Took all my birds to anniesland.this morning as I feel they're not fit enough, only have 10 yearlings and four latebreads that I've stopped,do youse think I'm doing th right thing or over training then as my first three birds were ones fro yesterday's race..any ponion welcome
JohnQuinn Posted May 27, 2014 Report Posted May 27, 2014 There is no way i would have trained birds the day after racing, regardless of distance. Gotta let them build themselves up, also gotta mind races are won in the loft not the training basket, motivation is key at this time of the season. jmo!! Good luck for the rest of the season whatever you do.
walterboswell59 Posted May 27, 2014 Report Posted May 27, 2014 did not even let mine out the loft today kenny they will get an open bowl from tomorrow and allowed to get the feel good factor a love in i call it lol im very short of hens so friday ill pick out six young hens bred in january and put them in with the yearling cocks to give them a wee buzz then off to the race no training req this week imo
