club m8 john green just called me to let me know he could not breed karen and jim a youngster the fox got into his loft last night and killed every bird in the loft 63 birds dead gutted for the guy told him ill help him anyway i can it chewed its way in through a sputnic type trap the bassa he got it but it dont help much chin up john im sure many will help you get started again m8

walter i know what its like had one in my young bird loft in 2004 chewed bottom of weatherboard of and killed every one of my 100 ybs then 2 yrs latter another one smashed my plastic sputnik open and killed over 60 of my old birds so i know the feeling guy must be gutted m8 , have some just hatched in stock shed can ring him a pair or 2 if he wants would need rings in next day or 2 as none left myself

thanks rab ill say to the guy but he might need a wee while to get his head together i also know how he feels m8 it happened to me to about 8 years ago i talked michael massarella into sending me six pair of his x stock birds at that time you could only buy them at the stud in leicester but because id spent so much he agreed to send them they were belters all jan aardens i won 5 races and the yb ave with the first years breeding off them the fox got in and killed the lot broke my f k g heart il tell you must have killed that fox ten times but it did not help thought of rapping it but only for five minutes would not know what to do with myself without them

Was just at club and a member had a visiter lastnight took 30 odd pigeons, all that was left was 2 dead, a few feathers, and a tail, not alot of blood, the only entry point was through the louvers an 8 " gap, could this have been a fox ? interested to hear your thoughts guys.

would say deff fox thats what it did at my loft 8years ago killed every bird in the section and stashed them in the woods next to my back garden where its cubs were waiting snare the hole it will be back

Unbelievable the damage these vermin do..came home from club tonight and a wild cat scrambled over my fence wire and everything didn't even have time to chase the c...nt but I can asure yous that cat won't see

If it aint one vermin it's another sorry to hear this guys , certainly worth meshing vents and stuff over to ensure our lofts are vermin proof even traps are a vulnerable place and worth putting door on , hope they get over this and continue .
