Blue Chequer Pied Posted May 4, 2014 Report Posted May 4, 2014 I would like to take this opportunity as Fed President to thank all the members of the North of Scotland Fed who turned up and supported our sale today aswell as those who made some very generous donations . I would also like to thank the members of the Aberdeen Fed who came along and supported us, and those who donated birds. If I was to thank everybody in person it would read like the longest Oscar acceptance speech in history. Suffice to say that every club in the Fed was very well represented today and every donation and purchase were greatly received. The goodwill and good humour that was shown today has amazed me. There were donations of birds, numerous cash doanations received, donations of equipment, fantastic raffle donations, the sandwiches/teas/coffees and the hire of the hall were all paid for by members of the Fed and I thank you all. To the people who turned up in large numbers and bid handsomely on pigeons I thankyou all. Also thanks to 'Pigeonbasics' for letting us advertise the sale briefly on the site I am sure it made a difference. In total today we raised a fantastic £2700 towards the cost of our new transporter which was beyond our expectations. Things are much easier when you have a great team of people around you. All the best for the 2014 season, Paul.
