BIGPETE Posted March 2, 2014 Report Posted March 2, 2014 Morning lads. I have filled out my RPRA membership form and will be sendin it off next week. Once I have been approved/accepted does that mean birds can be transferred to my name no drama? Also does transfering bird ownership have a fee? If yea how much per bird? Also will they give me a Loft number? Cheers - Pete
frankdooman Posted March 2, 2014 Report Posted March 2, 2014 Yes to all above and the fee for the rpra transfer may have gone up but most unions are about £1-50 for a Sheet good luck and welcome to a great sport
REDCHEQHEN Posted March 2, 2014 Report Posted March 2, 2014 You need a separate sheet for each previous owner of birds - I thinkYou can print transfer of ownership forms from RPRA Website http://www.rpra.org/download-forms/ If you have birds from other unions - you will have to transfer using their forms/cards
BIGPETE Posted March 5, 2014 Author Report Posted March 5, 2014 Thanks everyone for the info. My application has been sent off to the RPRA, how long does this sort of thing usually take to get sorted and sent back to me?

If it's the rpra it won't take that long for an individual membership if it doesn't need to go to a region

REDCHEQHEN Posted March 5, 2014 Report Posted March 5, 2014 You don't have to be a member of the RPRA to get a loft number - or to transfer birdsI am not a member of the RPRA - my loft number begins NA (FOR NON AFFILIATED)Though I am a member of another union
