Interesting reading Rooster, £600 in 1939 must have been a fortune, I wonder what it would be in todays terms :animatedpigeons:

A simple Purchasing Power Calculator would say the relative value is £31,500.00. This answer is obtained by multiplying £600.00 by the percentage increase in the RPI from 1939 to 2012.

Strange one for me?? I cant see the benefit of it at all.

Always thought that was first chance the fancier had to aid recovery
