paddymac Posted January 30, 2014 Report Posted January 30, 2014 I have a few pair of show wests that I let out of the loft depending on the weather. They can fly with my race birds if they get spooked and fly off but most of the time they spend the day picking around the garden and sitting on the loft. Hope you get them back Blue, the weather forecast isn't too good over the next few days.
Blue Chequer Pied Posted January 30, 2014 Report Posted January 30, 2014 Stevie if you don't get them back I will breed you a pair of German Owls for your wife if you want, wouldn't like you to get thrown out . I got a pair for my daughter to look after when I was at Blackpool, they are lovely birds. Paul.

Guest ljb107 Posted February 6, 2014 Report Posted February 6, 2014 I had a westie get out on sunday and haven't seen it since. Let me know what sex the one that hasn't come back is and what colour you'd prefer and i'll try and sort you one out for free if you're interested, you'll just need to arrange to get it to you, i'm in the falkirk area.

They really need to go out as youngsters for the fitness to be honest, i know of only one person that flys his wests and all of them came from me. As with all tumblers in a kit they will slow down as they can't tumble at speed, i'm unsure whether they do tumble much anymore. One of my stock cockbirds does as he was flown out before i bought him.
