must be but it certainly doesn't feel it,I've been wearing hat gloves and couple coats when out at loft, as soon as a bad frost comes bang and its all gone, last year we had snow in March and April and all my veg lost the lot even potatoes that had not started coming through

Trees still bare here also, it must be warmer the further South you go and they're definately getting plenty of water :emoticon-0156-rain:

when i was going to judge a show in wishaw a few weeks ago drove past a grden and the cherry blossom was out in full bloom . also had bushes here with blossom on aswell but the frost killed it of a few weeks back , weather is all over the place .

right enough rab a couple of days aga i was watching two crows building a nest in my neighbours hawthorn trees the winds however have put a stop to their nesting everything has blown away

A mild spell often fools nature, but the frost isn't long in nipping it in the bud. It should be really cold, frosty and snowing just now, but it isn't, so it is mild for the season. It is bound to change.

it was 10.5 degrees here today were no bad getting that in the summer .

Much the same here today Rab but now we're getting heavy rain, strong winds and its turned very cold
