another great training flight today :D all Scottish entrants home in good time :scotland:

1196 pigeon sent to Training 03, only 3 short... a few late ones though, maybe due to there first falcon attack!

TRAINING 04 took place on 13th December with excellent returns! :D

 

There was another training race today from 25km, and yet again excellent returns, the 21 Scottish doos are still in contention :scotland: :scotland:

a wee break from the training the now, owners activation is now complete!

 

so any pigeons not activated by there owners will be up for grabs as from tomorrow!

I am in Tenerife in Los chistianos , is the loft far from there, wouldn't mind going to have a look?

 

 

its in a town called Guaza (pronounced Waza!), very close to Las Americas... you pass it enroute from the airport :emoticon-0157-sun:

well who all activated pigeons for the forthcoming training races and main races where the real prizes are to be won, three motor cars and the big prizemomey from the main event, 300km from the island of Fuerteventura! ??? :emoticon-0138-thinking::emoticon-0157-sun:

 

post up the pigeon you have activated, its name(s)and the picture of it/them if possible? :)

Have done for the last couple of years, decided against it this year as it has been a very poor gamble, this down to so many birds being lost from the first couple of sea training tosses which is from a only a short distance of approx 30 miles.

 

All the best to you and the rest of the Scottish fanciers that are competing.

agree its a hard game this OLR, it was at my third attempt that my activated pigeon 'Diazepan' cracked it for me, then this year my home bred 'Big Bro' once again gave me a great result... never give up! ;)

 

Jim Hannah has done me two cracking portraits of Diazepan and Big Bro' sire, will get them posted up soon...
