peter pandy Posted December 1, 2013 Author Report Posted December 1, 2013 If I may, I wish to return to the members left in the Midland Federation who will perhaps rue the day they accepted a race programme which included the SNFC inland nationals which I am led to believe was introduced by the President Andrew Garvin who is also SNFC Secretary. No mention was made at the time that birdage would be £1.00 for Fed members participating, nor was it noticed that the Worcester and Stafford Open races were switched to accommodate the SNFC. A point worth noting was the fact that almost 300 Fed birds this year were sent boosting SNFC coffers by £300.00 with no income to the Midland Fed.The next point I wish to inform Basic Members is. As we are all aware Lanarkshire Federation wished to help other Federations travelling the West Coast route with shared transportation and contacted our officials with a proposal for same !, One of the Midland Federation Officials who received the call informed Lanarkshire that their was no way the Midland birds would be transported by Lanarkshire..and to go forth and multiply. I do not know who received the call nor do I wish to know however if this is the way they wish to conduct themselves then perhaps they should relinquish office. I thank all those who have sympathised re our plight and can assure them we will carry on one way or another. I HOPE.

Guest bigda Posted December 1, 2013 Report Posted December 1, 2013 if Airdrie get allowed to go with us, should they not be in with newmains section in open racesalso what will be done about the birdage should there be more birds than baskets, wouldn't like to be the last club getting pick up, and no room for your clubs birds on the transporter.

Danny, that very point was given a fair airing at the AGM yesterday but I am not telling you what happened you should have been their to hear the discussion yourself, Airdrie are now members of Lanarkshire so make no mistake about that, I'm sure you will put the info up for the pilgrims once you've heard it from someone else.
mazzie Posted December 2, 2013 Report Posted December 2, 2013 ave not heard of any where in the midland fed that the dues are to go up in price it was set four years ago that the fed dues go up one pound every year also our club chapelhall is 32 pence per bird for birdage and am sure that the birdage for this year wont be going up also the snfc race program was voted in by the members of the fed also snfc races birdage wise did you pay for birdage in the snfc or as a club fed race theres

geordie1234 Posted December 2, 2013 Report Posted December 2, 2013 Danny if you had bothered your *expletive removed* to go you would know all stipulations Lanarkshire fed are stronger than ever
frank-123 Posted December 2, 2013 Report Posted December 2, 2013 Canny believe Mr Lanarkshire never showed up or someone never told him what happened at the agm.
Guest bigda Posted December 2, 2013 Report Posted December 2, 2013 (edited) As I said it was all discussed yesterday at the AGM how can you discuss new membership joining one of the 3 clubs now that they know there fed is weakened as i type there might be might be other names asking to join clubs in Airdrie Glenmavis Clarkson can we stop them from now doing that like, before the season starts i am not botherd about how many join i am bothered about having enough crates and transporters with out going to the likes of gordon geddis or such like to mooch transporters and if i had made the AGM i would have asked how much did we get for the scrapped 2 trailers as it had new tyres on them and only used 18 times in the one year, never seemed to MISS a M.O.T. but as i was not there i am sure you where all on the ball.
