My wife ordered me a new basket from Boddy & Ridewood and paid it by card. She told me when I came in and I asked her to cancel it as I had plenty of baskets. She cancelled it right away.I checked my bank in the morning and the money was taken off so I phoned them to ask for it back. Thats a week and I still haven't been reimbursed. As I write this post I am waiting on a phone call from them.They said they would phone back in 5 minutes, that's over an hour ago.I wont ever use this company again, everyone beware.

I was in scarborough,the other week and visited there shop,which to my suprise had been sold off.

(1 million i was told,by a fella on the same trading estate)

They share a petshop now on aberdeen walk,where they were first off.i believe.

I visited that shop,not VERY IMPRESSED at all,a few bits and pieces.

The lady behind the counter said they do all the orders over the internet!

There you have it.

It is years since I dealt with this Company. I had placed an order and it didn't come so after loads of phone calls I went legal and was about to issue Court Papers when I got my money back. It took months of messing about and needless aggravation to sort it out.

On the other hand I placed an order with Pallats which was brilliant. The lady on the phone was nice and very helpful and the order was with me the next day. I will certainly deal with them again.

Such a great pity B&R have allowed things to go in a downward spiral. I haven't dealt with them for a few years as I just couldn't fathom their P&P charges.
