Just got back off my break away,needed a few bags o beans,

called our local shop,yes the assistant replied,we have 2 bags left

nice one i thought,and what is the price says I

£14.95 a bag,says she,(ROBDOGS OR WHAT)!!!!!!

they can shove them,were the sun dont shine :mad:

is that your monthly feeding order going down that much ? assuming you buy the amount each month.

€ 12.50 for Barley ( £10.57)

 

€ 13.00 for Oats (£11.00)

 

€ 13.00 for Wheat (£11.00)

 

 

€ 0.50 cent per Bag to have it Rolled (Barley & Oats)

 

These prices are in Euro's and are per 40KG sack B)

if they buy it at the low price of £110.17 that makes them 50 bags equal a ton at 20 kilo at say £5.50 per bag makes it then £275 per ton £164.83 profit a very big margin there, if we where smart in our fed, we could buy in 15 straight grains as 15 ton of feed,and mix and bag and sell it our self. what would you think of that. £164.83 x 15= £2,472.45 profit 750 bags sold for ever 15 pallets that are sold

I was talking to a chicken farmer the other day he said he had just bought a tonne of wheat for £158 if you call it 150 it works out at £3 for 20kgs pus the cost of bagging it up why are all bags now 20kgs anyway supposed to be health and safety law but other things are sold in 25s I noticed price dropped when the weight did but soon went back up to the price for the bigger bag I think theres a lot of mickey takers have a look on internet for prices then challenge your supplier I did
