Lennut Tar Posted November 17, 2008 Report Posted November 17, 2008 comments pls Weecunny !!!!!!!!! unfortunately ;D ;D ;D I see no one has replied, to your little quizz etc. So I will do my best to help ?????????? "LOL". in two words "it's crap" & a shocker of an eye, at least in my view. but then !!!!!!!! I ain't no expert, on eye sign one could say :) . Now !!!!!!! all bulls*it aside, do what I do etc & wack it in a basket to race, & if it comes home first on a regular basis & wins etc or is an honest pigeon, the eye is all right in my view. If not, try something else. Enjoy.
lawrie Posted November 17, 2008 Report Posted November 17, 2008 i have never cred for eyesigns, theres no reason for a "good eyesign" in my opinion. im sure there are other people who would disagree with me. as long as a bird is fast at getting home i dont care if it only has one eye!
blaz Posted November 17, 2008 Report Posted November 17, 2008 YOU LOOK AT THE TOP OF THE TREE YOU WILL SEE TOP BIRDS TOP EYE SIGN BUT NOT ALL
lawrie Posted November 17, 2008 Report Posted November 17, 2008 so any bird with a "good eyesign" is a good bird?
Guest d2d2 Posted November 17, 2008 Report Posted November 17, 2008 the only thing wot can use the eyes r the birds
blaz Posted November 17, 2008 Report Posted November 17, 2008 NO BUT I HAVE YET TO SEE A BIRD WITH VERY GOOD EYE SIGN NOT RACE WELL OR BREED GOOD YOUNG. BIRDS NEED TO BE KEEP IN TOP CLASS CONDITION IN A LOFT THATS NOT A GARDEN SHED
lawrie Posted November 17, 2008 Report Posted November 17, 2008 youll find alot of folk use garden sheds as lofts.
lawrie Posted November 17, 2008 Report Posted November 17, 2008 seen loads. and it was a small stock loft. there was no intention of anything quality about the birds keptin it. not saying there werent any nice birds but if they were good enough for you to have then you can be the gudge of that
wilkins Posted November 17, 2008 Report Posted November 17, 2008 would be nice to have a topic on eys , and followers of the eye sign can give us/me a few points to look for
blaz Posted November 17, 2008 Report Posted November 17, 2008 NO I THANK YOU FOR THEM NOW SOLD TO PAY FOR MY JAN ARDDENS AND IF YOU START TO RACE BIRDS WILL GIVE YOU A GOOD START
just ask me Posted November 17, 2008 Report Posted November 17, 2008 have seen lots of crap with top eye signs i think its harder to judge eyes today as back 20 years ago as pigeons can be bred together for no other point only to make the eye look better Ive done it myself to prove a point ive bred 2 birds with medium to good eyes but remember these pigeons were not much good but i knew when paired together they would throw a bird with a real good eye actually i bed 4 young ones off them that year 2 of them had superb eyes but out of the 4 not one of them was any thing of note i done this to prove a point to a friend and i reckon a lot of studs and big sales men are up to the same trick is there something in eye sign well i had a pair no bulls**t that threw winners after winners national winners for me and for others the cock was class but the hen was the gem she would throw winners no matter which cock i paired her too 1 in a lifetime u could say well any way these two birds were bought to a show as one of the top eye sign men in Europe was there and sure as god the cock was put in a different basket to the hen but he picked out the cock and the hen and reckoned they should be paired together as they could do nothing only throw winners and also he probably went through over 300 pigeons that day but picked out them two so is there something in eye sign well this one made me think
jacksafc Posted November 17, 2008 Report Posted November 17, 2008 Its a fact that nearly all top birds have good eyesign, unfortunately so have a lot of duffers which makes it unreliable for pigeon selection.
Guest spin cycle Posted November 17, 2008 Report Posted November 17, 2008 youll find alot of folk use garden sheds as lofts. and win to them as well...i've a 6x4 that i got when i started ...broke my novice to it...ideal size for new starters. i'm going to have 16ybs in it next year.
little sam Posted November 17, 2008 Report Posted November 17, 2008 ITS AN EYE, AND THEY SHOULD HAVE TWO ;D ;D ;D ;D
just ask me Posted November 17, 2008 Report Posted November 17, 2008 know what ye are saying just found it strange the way he picked out 2 class birds
Roland Posted November 17, 2008 Report Posted November 17, 2008 Well Bob Flemming would say 'Seen a lot of culls with good eyes ... never great birds with a bad eye'. But then what is a bad eye?
barnsley_pigeonman Posted November 18, 2008 Report Posted November 18, 2008 not in to eyes look up its ass lol
Guest youngzimmy Posted November 18, 2008 Report Posted November 18, 2008 IS IT GOOD OR BAD OR SOME NOT AS GOOD AS DEPENDING ON HOW YOU SEE IT
Guest REDFOXKRAUTHS Posted November 20, 2008 Report Posted November 20, 2008 I SORT OF NO WHAT AN EYE SIGN MAN LOOKS FOR SO I HAVE AN UPPER HAND WHEN SHOWING BUT I HAVE A COCK THAT WINS THE BREEDING EYE CLASS ALL THE TIME AINT BRED A SINGLE BIRD TO CARD, BUT HE WAS A WINNER HIM SELF, ONLY KEPT FOR HE IS OLD
