A generous and far-sighted fancier donated his copy of this book to Falkirk Libraries, where it is still held (on reserve, rather than on the shelf) so you can still make a reservation for it and get it out on loan.

The book dates from early 1950's when it cost 7 shillings and 6 pence (37 1/2 pence in todays money) and was published by The Racing Pigeon, but reads as if it was written yesterday. Dr Anderson was a medical doctor, he knew about genetics, disease etc and was friendly with the likes of Dr Bricoux and Paul Sion etc, with whom he swapped pigeons and of whom he speaks in his book. Dr Anderson was ahead of his time and book is deffo well worth a read.
