dal2 Posted May 28, 2013 Report Posted May 28, 2013 My young cocks are chasing anything that moves,I've never parted them before but thinking of doing it this season. When would you part them and is there any advantage parting them ?Always part mine as soon as they show Lindsay. I like to get them in a basket a soon after that as poss to stop them ranging. Biggest advantage is the obvious widow motivation for race day, no worries of young hens laying and a bit easier(i think) to handle daily. I have a sliding door between two identical ends which I open when the time is right!
andyyy Posted May 28, 2013 Report Posted May 28, 2013 I've parted mine for last two year, after the 1st yb race like mentioned above far easier to control
