Angling Competition Aberdeen

I was thinking about organising a fishing competition on our one and a half mile private stretch of the river don near Aberdeen airport in September 2013 after the y/bird nat. sea trout brown trout salmon. fly. spinning. worm. teams of 3 anglers from pigeon clubs £100 per team. all money raised will go to Rachel house childrens hospice Kinross Scotland. donations of trophies or prizes would be great please help if you can. my e mail is (dodsmith@talktalk.net)

There is good access to the River no hard walking and good river banks to fish from also there is a large bothy that looks on to the river if you want a break. We also own a good stretch of the River Ythan near Newburgh Ellon Aberdeenshire which has good runs of Salmon and Sea Trout in September. Depending on the interest I could have the competition at either River.

I would like to come along, not to fish just for the fun, I'll pay £20 for any fish thats caught on the day over 2lbs towards your charity.

Single fishermen could put there names up on here and make a team of 3 if that was alright by you

that would be fine by me open to any suggestions I am just testing the water to see if we can get enough people to make it worth my while. ( it would be a good day out and a chance to meet up with other members.)

I would join in if the date disnae clash with my holiday's. It will all depend on the date though. Haven't fished for years but i was no a bad Match fisher on ma day
