Natural Yearling Cocks

Can anyone give me the general nest conditions that it is best to send yearling cocks.

I am aiming to get them ready for the distance in a year or so and want to look after them.

Incidently, they didn't race as young birds.

i would just send them ,regardless .as there only yearlings ,but take notes on each .you may find different ones perform at different stages of nest condition.

I'm on the careful side with yearlings driving,observation is the main thing mate,never two alike.
