Payment structure for training is not perfect, but very hard to price with when your trying to cater for the guys with 6 doos and the fanciers with 60 and above.

Not a problem, plenty of Lanarkshire members have used the south Lanarkshire training facility for years, nice to repay there generosity.

Andy at the start of year there was three clubs in the east section that pulled out of training facilities being laid on. Since then nothing has changed.

If there is a serious demand for young bird training in this corner of the fed, then this will have to be be looked at. And yes i was approached 6 weeks ago by one of the clubs mentioned above about the possibility of having training put on for the young birds.

Is there no pick up at Carluke any more for YB ?????

Would it be possible to maybe look at the way the 2 bird club do like pay 45 quid upfront that covers your youngbirds training. If we can get enough names commit to it you could possibly make more money training and have figures to work with etc instead of maybe some going one week then not the next.

Regardless I will be training on it, it's the perfect way to school the youngsters on our own transporter coming back into Lanarkshire together

There's been no interest from Carluke. Don't know if that will change.

Think it could be good way for fanciers to manage their traing costs and ours however I know you have enough on your plate whilst doing a cracking job so far so I'll just go with the flow
