Tam Davidson done a fantastic job auctioning all 33 lots , all sold , some lots being pairs of youngsters. .plus the gift feeder manufactured by Alex Wight . a short announcment was made ,notifieng us that birds bought at todays sale will fly for cash prize of £50 each breeder/buyer for the first home from Newark race on 7th Sept . thanks to all those who attended .

well done to all involved, and good luck in the breeder/buyer folkshttp://forum.pigeonbasics.org/public/style_emoticons/default/animatedpigeons.gif

Glad to say that the sale was quite successful despite a low turnout of fanciers-too many sales today I suppose. However we raised £880 for the 31 birds. Our thanks go to the donors and all who attended for giving their birds, time and money to help the club. The club decided to give a £100 breeder buyer prize for the fastest velocity of any bird from the sale to be flown for from our YB Newark race. Thanks also to Alec Wight, Lochgelly who attended with various loft fitments which he turns out-very good quality and finish at reasonable prices. Once again thanks to all
