Hi i paires up end febuary and gens nog laid effet how long since putting them in meet boxes should they Pau they hadj bisou in since day one its my first year pairing up new start and mot got any young birds only gt stock birds if any buddy could help thanks very much

end of Feb = 28th today is only the 3rd of March u will not get eggs for another 4-7 days

Ok kl thanks a paired others up 2012 for start Feb n had in for two weeks or more n didn't lay so let them out a thought they were maybe two young

plenty time yet m8 10 to 14 days as mik says longer if your birds are fat or late breds no need to panick

possibly too young, but its still cold in Feb and alot will not go down. It will also depend on the health/condition of the birds and how long they have been parted.

Ok thanks Dunno if late breds didn't get told when people gave me them couple hens are fat lol so doe I just put in nest box with nest bowl and keep locked in two pairs are sitting in neat bowls I gave food water and grit in nest boxes how do I sex birds how you know a hen from cock I know cocks COO n puff out but when there not doing it how do I sex them thanks for the help

Well guy I got them paired up round about 14th Feb I have pair of 09 birds they wasn't sitting down in nest bowl it laid egg but didn't lay second egg n didn't sit on egg

if your unsure what is a cock or hen why lock them up in nests. Sometimes they can act like the opposite sex, cocks bowing down and hens puffing out.

 

why dont you just open all boxes let them pick their own mates and take it from there.

Hi mate, are you in touch with any local pigeon guys, if you could get one to come over for an hour to look at your set up and birds you would learn a lot more than the replies we are able to give you on here, Best of luck

I let them choose and two pair went to boxes it first year breeding and looking for help two pairs paired up prefer weren't going to boxes just asking how other ways you can sex pigeons
