618 mls oslo to fechan with 350mls of water from egersund to holy island in, what is likely to be a west/southwest wind????? Think I just sh** masel SOZ no for me

 

 

how come its 618 mile that bothers you now, but you don't care when some from fraserburgh as to fly there from nantes at say 740 mile and more and he has to do that at the same fee as all there rest yet the sprint pigeon is killing him from ever getting a open result. if you race east as i say from celle the north guy is not worrying about distance he is wanting yours are all going to suffer the same pain as his birds suffer if the birds don't come on line of flight then that means more flying for him but it also means more flying for the border birds also its 575 to aberdeen and 531 to blyth

so its even steven if they fly a straight line, if they don't well it could be 680 to blyth and 825 to the north but the north man would prefer that for his bird knowing it is call the national rather than the free feeding for some as prize money goes all border birds get paid a £10 from prize money so there birds are getting a bag of feeding or the cost of from the race

the name of the game is flying who wants a bird than wants to go down for a drink and has not got the constituion that lives in your loft what you want to be a pigeon racing man or a pigeon keeper. who is the boss you or your birds in your shed.

if its the birds are boss in most sheds dont stand in the way of the guys that want to go a bit further just say you are out, but dont just put your hand up just to stop the guy going forward. the vote is always for the best we can achive not they other we are scared to achive.

you must under stand it is easier to get a £10 from prize money in the open for a short flyer than it is some one doing 160 mile more is it not outwith section prize money

i have seen loads of fanciers birds sent to the nat bare arsed in section and in opens yet get £10 prize why is that when distance is the killer. why have all fanciers got it in there head they aint going when it should be made compusive that you go east and a line be drawn that you all are as close as to the 500 plus mark as posable i am sure you wouldnt all want to sit out the nat for 2 or 3 years would you but are perfectly happy to shaff all around and the strangest thing i find is you are allowed home comforts at the expence of others sorry not in my make up you go all on the line that suits every one not just a few some one post up where the wining is done i say the good old days are over, drop out before your put out you would not be missed if it was the case you dont want your bird flying the same distance as all the rest

in a marathon race no one finishes the race with 10 more laps to go.

Do you think that fanciers in the south or borders are poor flyers cos of where they live?? Do you think if we had a 500mile race into the south that the fanciers in the south or borders would be nowhere??

I think you will find out on Saturday there are plenty interested in the national although you wont be there to see it. Let me know when you have timed in from 500+ miles and are on a result so I can frame it to give me inspiration

 

 

500 mile aint the problem its where they get relased from if you race out of germany as that has more mass land than the irish side, i could pin point a race area where as blyth is flying 500mile and i could make it aberdeen fly 500 mile years ago we could only go by train and now we can go where ever, so it sould be the main issue for the comittee to even up the races, you worry about the birds rightly so but there is a 60 boats daily line across every day, so if a bird wants to drop out then it will land on the boat

the national is not about the last man standing its about all been in it together with fairness in mind not about where you stay draw the line go to the race like every one else and if that dont work tweek it till its 8 sections timing in as near as posible,

just a observation that they go bare arsed yet collect £10 back to the 500 mile from France as you are about to say you do fly but when that happens there are about only 400 birds in the race.

where as my race would be all doing 500 mile in all races and your gold Cup would be about 550 but flying from Germany.

But we have had a GOLD cup race from 500+miles to the south? Good race it was too as memory serves?

but its imposable for loads to get any of it. as sprint velocities have nailed it. such is the beast they have created, what is wrong with every race being 500 mile due east or west a change from the southerly race point. to be honest the snfc are lackadaisical with running the show they should be the guys saying we are going to you are entitled to come and they should have the power to change the route to suit all fanciers and now with gps there is nothing stopping them from getting the measurements up to speed when bird first when to France all them years ago did they thing the would never see there birds again i wonder . if the national set the pace and get the finger out had sales and such like raffles they prize money and newspaper and magazines deals would be there sponsors the lot there one loft race would never have eclipsed the nat or any union we should have had races of a bout £25,00 if right was right

steve its the short flying that has done it in talking about the longest what is in it when your nat sits with 120,000 in the bank and will not make it a 3,000 race to the winers bird flying for nothing and have a zero chance of winning why do they do it i wonder they know they are beat before they go

Well the SNFC has survived nearly 120 years without your wisdom. If the majority of members wish to race from Germany, Norway, Ireland or even Timbuctoo it will be passed tomorrow.
