sapper756 Posted December 30, 2012 Report Posted December 30, 2012 Brian, how effective do you feel the 3 in 1 treatments are? I have used these 3 products all together for the past 4 years,( they do come individually, and can be administered as so, but I prefer to administer all together) and I have had no problems, I have just been out to the lofts and the dropping are perfect following the 3 day administration, but I am no expert Ryan so do what suits you best m8, and all the best for the 2013 season m8.
Guest LBuddle Posted December 30, 2012 Report Posted December 30, 2012 Canker them for 5-7 days a week before pairing and worm them when they are on Eggs.
Guest geordiejen Posted December 30, 2012 Report Posted December 30, 2012 is adenosan and antibiotic?good point oldyellow but unfortunately the fancy breeds dont seem to be as hardy as racing pigeons.i dont see any harm in worming or cocci treatment for the birds even if they dont have it.canker treatment is another thing as i dont like flock treating with antibiotics.

Original post on what is in adenosan is gone but Susan obviously picked up on it:- Adenosan is a mixture of 'crucifers and immunoglobulins' crucifers - are vegetablesit doesn't sound to me as if it contains actual 'medication'but whether it would be harmful to young birds in the nest - I do not know Basically its a right load of cabbage - crucifers is Belgian (I think) for brassicas, so its liquidised vegetables belonging to the cabbage family! Immunoglobulins are basically proteins the body's immune system uses to fight various infections. There are various types, usually written as IgA, IgC etc so if you Google that it'll tell you that every living body produces them, including pigeons.
andyyy Posted December 30, 2012 Report Posted December 30, 2012 Like some of the people have already said, send a testing kit of that way you know what you are treating
