i had a yearlin hen home from 230 ml race , the only one short end was waiting for her, i thought thats qeer cause she was coming well, anyway next day around two she turns up, my lad saw her land and he said she just fell onto the board,on havin a look the poor crater was eat through the back, every body fluid was coming out, she put up such a good and heroic fight to get home it brock my heart to put her to sleep, i had no choice her left leg was destroyed in the attack,how she made it home ill never know, the blood was dried up so she had been flyin a while, never ceases to amaze me the doos and me and the loons been racin since 2004, never mind lads n lass,s onwards n upwards eh.

iknow avery one will have stories about doos but here is anothjer een fae my dookit, in the early days fin yi didna ken fit yi were flein yi thoughtb they were a good but i had this cock thaqt i thought wis a good lad, i liked him but he was allways late so i thought farher doon the road, he kept coming but oot o clock time , but fin i went oot the fronmt o the hoose their he wis loookinng for in covered in blood, aye a near miss , so rested for a fortynight and sent tae oor newark, well late as usual but a week later who is sitten on the board dut the boy minus a toe, now some kind person had him in and dabbed his toe stump w3ith that blue stuff yi get for dippin sheep so there is some good people oot their efter in ah, his no wis 2015 , if onybody remembers him then thanks fae me ,the boy made it home cheers davy.
