if you just put the virus name into a search enginee it normally tells you ifs its a fake or not.

Mind, best not open unless you know the person(s).

Had a few rough viruses, and NO one I know has appreciated being sent one.

If I sent to someone first time the Message would bear my name and a clue as to what....

Often we don't know whether it's a spoof or not till a day or so later... but it is sent on, posted in good faith. Better safe than sorry. I'd hate for many to go  down with a virus that I could have prevented.

Aye if it is a hoax then we can all laugh and mock but if it is a real virus then best be warned, one day it might be a real one you never know as there are so many hoaxes about   :( :( :(
