Helpmewith setting up my loft, buying birds, advice on the basics of pigeon husbandry, training etc. I am not wanting to race my pigeons just keep them. Any advice would be gratefully recieved. Thanks Seona

Guest Freebird Posted May 29, 2009 Report Posted May 29, 2009 Welcome and happy flying when you get the birds.
Babybird Posted May 29, 2009 Author Report Posted May 29, 2009 one wee question, what happens when u want to go away for the weekend? do you have to get someone in to care for the birds/ exercise them or is there a way you can set things up that they cope without you for a night? This is a real consideration as I will be having to attend several sporting events that include an overnight stay
blaz Posted May 29, 2009 Report Posted May 29, 2009 if it just overnight just make sure that birds have WATER and a double ration of food. birds can stay in some guys keep birds in all winter
Babybird Posted May 29, 2009 Author Report Posted May 29, 2009 Cheers mate, that puts my mind at rest
