i think there are good and bad in every walk of life,no matter where you go.

Yes thats true Paul, but the majority abide by the law, a minority are meant to enforce the law, and a few try to take the law into their own hands and think they are above the law.

As long as the Police, and the Politicians, for that matter, are not responsible directly to the people we can expect trouble. Both can be expected to cut corners and be mainly self interested. How about the Bankers ripping us off? Do you honestly think the Politicians did not know what was going on?

I had a business in Cardiff shortly after the murder had happened. I know first hand that there was a lot going on behind the scenes. Even then the people in charge were involved in a cover up.

I think that we Brits have lost our way. We don't mean what we say any more. Laws are passed but never followed up. Politicials rant and rave and promise to do things that they never do. Recently, Gordan said that there would be British jobs for British people, but in a very short space of time he was saying that he didn't really mean it. In any case it was not his fault it was down to Europe. Was that a buck he passed?

We allow able bodied people to claim benefits and not work and then say that we have to import labour to do what we will not do. We must be mad to put up with the sh-- we are being served up.

I don't think we are talking bad eggs here. Navigator, you sound as if you are saying that we can'nt do anything about it and should put up with it. I would describe those sort of people as evil ba-----. They should be dropped on from a great hieght and punished without mercy. Why would we want to tolerate behaviour like this? They drag everybody down.

if a person off the street committed an offence like these police have done then they would be looking at prison, these police will be told off and allowed to continue in their duties because they will have a good report from their fellow officers.

a smacked hand and thats it.

Mind, trouble is, if you are in a Cabin with 10,000 Rattle Snakes swarming down the Hill, and you are assured you will be safe as only 5% will bite.... you shut the Door don't you.... Likewise the police, there are some great cops, even brilliant, and most prety good I'd say.... and 5% to 10% Baalambs... hence spoil any public trust or confidence. Indeed most families, or friends know of some bad deeds relating to the police, so the door gets shut I'm afraid.... become an Evil neccesarety I'm afraid. Shame for the good cops too.

But overall I, like most trust them because we have no choice... no alternative and the 5% of scum know it. Shame :( :B :B

a senario for you to concider ,your house is being broken into by some one with a gun  ,and you phone the police at 3oclock has it is happening ,the police say that they are under staffed and cant get to you strait away ,then at 10 past 3 they get a call from the lord of the mannor ,his house is being broken into as well and the person has a gun  ,then a police man in the station becomes available ,you and the lord live exactily the same time and distance from the station ,who do you think he will turn up to first ,{fair good honist police men }are like peregrins that dont eat meat

i was a very much liked when i was young and a teenager...i would always have someone calling at the house for me,and to make it even better they would even offer to take me to see the inside of where they worked.

then one day when i grew out of the games i used to play , they didnt call round much ..it must have been that they got new friends...well thats the way i looked at it! ::) :) :)

i totally agree with les when he says that the police are bent  i was no angel as a kid and spent time in and out of court and the police were more than happy to dump crimes on you that you didnt commit just to improve their clear up rate and i dont suppose its any different now but when it involves stitching people up for murder then i hope they get everything they deserve but that wont happen to to them being ex police officers >:(  kev

........... bent, not as bent as the solicitors that try to get us off, at least the police don't charge £180 per hour.

Maybe he past a EURO(evil) Yep, I agree Owen something needs done or we end up like Mexico or the like where the gangsters run the City. All society has it's spongers and they are not all working class (or non working), bye the way. It's time it was sorted before it is too late.
