blaz Posted June 22, 2012 Report Posted June 22, 2012 just went out to close yb section .theirs no yb,s in it stepped back a min or 2 later the hole batch are still flying.(little bassas) my back garden is lit up like Blackpool illuminations so s my .their is guaranteed 1 or 2 take dull hit with the wires and aerials. aaaggggg .their also flying at a lot faster pace . sh1t

Guest stb- Posted June 22, 2012 Report Posted June 22, 2012 (edited) just went out to close yb section .theirs no yb,s in it stepped back a min or 2 later the hole batch are still flying.(little bassas) my back garden is lit up like Blackpool illuminations so s my .their is guaranteed 1 or 2 take dull hit with the wires and aerials. aaaggggg .their also flying at a lot faster pace . sh1thappend to me twice in 1984 when i had just moved to the village here was a cracking night end of june and went down to lock the loft and there were none of the 60 yb in the loft its was quite dark down amongst the trees but although the sun had set it was daylight high up the batch of yb were 1000,s of feet up flying back and forth but couldnt get down as the loft was in darkness , i put the van lights on the loft but to no avail none came down , it them clouded over and that was the last i seen of the 60 yb not a feather the next day never none reported , 6 weeks later my 60 2nd round yb did the exact same , i have never let my ybs out in the evening since hope you get them without to many casualties gary Edited June 22, 2012 by stb-
maverick Posted June 23, 2012 Report Posted June 23, 2012 A mate of mine Rab Graham who raced in the sighthill club a few years ago his youngbirds got a fright when a cat went for then and his youngbirds flew round the high flats at sighthill all night then on the saturday he won the race easy so seemed they got over it quick
