This is the problem, everybody should be having there say, not sitting on the fence.I dont know how many folk have phoned me and complained about the race but no one will ever open there gob at the AGM or put a letter in.I had put a complaint in before the liberation as I knew it would be a disaster.I wanted the lib stopped, was I proven right.You bet I was, disgrace.Now , everybody on here that thinks it was wrong should say so.

you should wait till you here both sides before you say anything ? and it will only be snfc members that will have a say at the agm

tiger I take it you were quite happy with the decision that was made to over rule race controllers its happened in the past it happened this time and know dought it will happen again you are going to come to a point when you wont get any controllers as they wont know if they are going to be able to do the job for fear of getting over ruled if you are quite happy for this to continue so be it bury your heads in the sand and take the concequences thats up to you

I am not going to say anymore on this fiasco that happened I was only trying to inform the members what took place and should have been dealt with now not agm when its all forgotten about but if thats what you want fair enough I now close this matter and the best of luck for the coming races

this must be a new rule, that the race controllers can get over ruled is it not in your rule book that you remain at the race site and only a no race that the birds be brought back

was this move to favour lofts and sectional positions

Would like to know what the (ex)controllers actually wanted to do with the birds. If the rumours are correct they wanted the birds back at Leicester for Wednesday. Why not go the whole hog and bring them back to Otterburn. There were loads of guys saying they should have been up on Saturday as "everyone else was up and got a good race". Whats the (ex)controllers take on that. As far as I`m concerned the race wasnt a "disaster". Last years Messac was a disaster. Who controlled that race? If the convoy is to move from the designated racepoint surely the top officials have to be consulted

whoever it is i think they will have to be brave on saturday and get them up as early as possible and take their chances with the showers and a south west wind. if not could be another long wait

its because they resigned, you should never resign from a committee or organisation if you want to attend or speak, the only other place now would be at the AGM, the minute you resign from anything you are no longer a member, but hopefully someone in the committee will see that all is sorted. some organisations allow non committee members to attend but they must sit at the back and not allowed to speak,

Archie that cant be right they resighned after the fiasco so were in office and position while it happend they should have been asked to put there side of the story over as every one envolved at the time should have been part of it , thats a bit like having a murder trial but the victims are not allowed to testify . There was obviously somthing seriously wrong when they all resighned after the event and by there responce ,
