Speckled Jim Posted May 28, 2012 Report Posted May 28, 2012 Hello, I'm looking to set-up a racing pigeon loft here in the philippines, I have raced birds before but not in PH, so was wondering how everything operates here eg whens the moult, breeding season, racing seasons, etc there are no clubs where I live but will just look to breed ybs and maybe send to someone in manila to race for me. Im looking to buy quality race birds to breed from, can anyone suggest a good person to buy stock birds from here in PH, Im guessing most good breeders will be in manila, im based near davao city, but am travelling to manila frequently so it's not a problem. Salamat

Speckled Jim Posted June 1, 2012 Author Report Posted June 1, 2012 Thanks guys, It would be nice just to have someone from the Philippines to chat to, and get an idea of the race system and how it all works here in the Philippines. Thanks

Salamat My better half is Philippine, not too far from Davao, Dumaguette City. Same dialect. There is a strong pigeon base in Cebu City. Manila is the only other base I am aware of but my understanding is that it is excellent racing. race_pha@yahoo.com; Had an email at one time from that email address. I'd come across him on youtube. He sounded rather energetic. I didn't know what to make of him. You're pretty close to Hong Kong. Terrific action there if you're in that league. That's all the advice I have. Be sure to keep your hands in your pockets, and leave your balls alone. Good luck with it, Bill
