REDCHEQHEN Posted March 29, 2012 Report Posted March 29, 2012 We have always had trouble getting youngsters to fly, as babies, just setting off - and have always left them to 'go when they're ready' and its always the same - we end up chasing them in the end and losing a dozen off the loft !! Well this year - it's totally different, just a few weeks out of the nest and they're flying round the loft Can't believe it
billt Posted March 29, 2012 Report Posted March 29, 2012 That's good, I wonder if the nice weather is the difference, I don't let my youngsters out 'til later, I have one going out for the first time tomorrow, it was hatched on 12th. Feb. and I certainly don't need to encourage them to fly, touch wood I've never lost one off the loft
