REDCHEQHEN Posted March 29, 2012 Report Posted March 29, 2012 There's plenty of posts on this subject - try a search Personally - there are that many over the counter wormers for pigeons - I wouldn't bother buying something that isn't for birds

peter pandy Posted March 30, 2012 Report Posted March 30, 2012 A horse weighs 1/2 ton = 17 thousand 920 ounces. Pigeon weighs 15 oz therefore dosage is 1 thousand 195th of the dosage for a horse. Simple aint it. " NOT "

Dose on the basis that a pigeon weighs 2kg. Throughly mix the wormer with a small amount of water and then add this to a 1/2 - 3/4 ration of dampened grain and feed the birds. No wastage and all birds can be seen to get their ration :-). Ian

Ian A pigeon weighs around 400 grammes. That's a 5 times overdose. Plenty products specifically made for pigeons. Don't see any point in using one formulated for horses.
