Davy Jamieson has one of the best teams of 500 milers in the country but getting the best of of them is still a hard job. He is dedicated enough from what I've seen but you still need breaks and some luck to reach the very top but good luck to him

Also just because you are presented  or gifted with some lovely birds means nothing unless you work extremely hard as it and is by no means a certain for success  but good luck to you mate you are one of the lucky ones but keep your feet on the ground and as they say head down and a--e up. John must have thought a lot of you to get them so good luck but be careful

Two sided-coin. As youngzimmy said, John gifted him a lot of birds, and in the two SNFC Latebred sales I attended, Davie donated quality birds that you'd give your eye teeth to have. Having met John & Davie, both absolute gentlemen and credit to the sport.
