Guest geordiejen Posted March 29, 2012 Report Posted March 29, 2012 all you can do mate is give the birds enough of everything they need.at least they ae filling one egg.
REDCHEQHEN Posted March 29, 2012 Report Posted March 29, 2012 I have used medpet fertility tablets in the past - with success - but they are only 'vitamins' if they are that important - a visit to the vet for prescription fertility treatment is possible (but might be expensive) all you can do mate is give the birds enough of everything they need.at least they ae filling one egg. I think he means only laid one egg - not fertilized is definitely in the text !
novo10 Posted March 30, 2012 Report Posted March 30, 2012 ARE THEY GETTING . GRIT. MINERALS .PLENTYWONT BE THAT GRIT ONLY HELPS THE EGG NOT MAKE IT FERTILE COME ON TOOSHY SHOULD KNOW THAT
lanarkshire lad Posted March 30, 2012 Report Posted March 30, 2012 Try taking the first egg away when its been laid the cock needs to tread the hen between the first and second egg to fertilise the last egg.
Tony C Posted March 30, 2012 Report Posted March 30, 2012 you could try giving them a pair fertile eggs to sit and let them go through the process of rearing. By doing this it could kickstart their hormones proper.
