Roland Posted December 27, 2011 Report Posted December 27, 2011 AMIR KHAN has officially appealed against the decision following his controversial points loss to Lamont Peterson. Brit Khan, 25, lost his IBF and WBA light-welterweight titles in Peterson's hometown Washington DC this month. But both governing bodies will now hold hearings in New York starting on January 18. Khan was docked two points for pushing and Richard Schaefer, from promoters Golden Boy, said: "We believe there are enough grounds to have the decision overturned. "What happened was one of the worst cases ever of home cooking."

geordie1234 Posted December 27, 2011 Report Posted December 27, 2011 Hope to god it doesn't get changed he got bet and thats it he has been found out many a time 1st time willie limond then presscot then peterson. when are they going to stop hyping him up
fletch Posted December 27, 2011 Report Posted December 27, 2011 suspect chin has had his fights hand picked so he don't loose but every time he fought anyone who could bang they all been over the hill, will loose again again when he fights preston as i am sure preston was worried about him early on but when he realised he wasnt that strong he started going after him
JohnQuinn Posted December 27, 2011 Report Posted December 27, 2011 Think he has a chance of winning this appeal, i've seen the full fight and i reckon he was mugged. jmo
DAVIDL Posted December 27, 2011 Report Posted December 27, 2011 as much as i dislike khan, and have always wanted him to loose again i do think he was robbed on this occasion........but then again its swings and roundabouts as there have been fights hes been in, where he has got the win and shouldnt have done. JMO
