Ma Da with his unrivalled foresight, planted ours 40 years ago just in case we got kids in one of the gardens around us, sure enough about 30 years ago we got (for pigeons) the worst neighbours in the club. Fortunately the trees were up far enough for the doos not to see the ball gettin kicked about Job Done.

I have put them in my small aviary with a jeyes fluid dressing underneath them. They are still green though and will probably stay green for a good few weeks yet.

I'm not sure if they are poisenous or not but they have been growing into my aviary for the last ten years without affecting the birds.
