Guest bigda Posted October 23, 2011 Report Posted October 23, 2011 got a few e-mails from lanarkshire fed members, saying another extraordinary meeting is in the pipe line, when the clubs have there agm next month, so there you go, ME. i am not to bothered what way they go, but i am only here to tell it as it is, i have told them i am not putting in the request for change but i will support it on the grounds for democracy, and health and safety reasons, and also there is a hall big enough for all, instead of 80 members having the majority due to the size of the hall, when we have 450 members80 should not be dictating, unless there was a hall big enough to hold it, and if no one turns up then the vote would stand a few guys made the point it was raining and they did not fancy standing out side if they had went. that i cant say. so there you have it bigda here for the under dogs, and the guys that get told nothing.
JohnQuinn Posted October 23, 2011 Report Posted October 23, 2011 Bet you London to an Orange it disnae get overturned Danny
Guest bigda Posted October 23, 2011 Report Posted October 23, 2011 Bet you London to an Orange it disnae get overturned Dannyall depends on what route they apply to get it resolved, they have a choice of 2 that i know of, but should they take a third road it could last for months. as i said i was only firing the one shot salvo across the bow, as what can come about remember the last meeting held in a bigger hall, no come back.

Got to remember Danny plans have to be in place to transport the doos, this involves tenders for the work. These Tenders are being taken now. Hypothetical rhetoric is no justification for an EGM.

These Tenders are being taken now. Hypothetical rhetoric is no justification for an EGM.the loss of revenue would lie at the foot of the fed,but there would be adjustments made the following year, you would all ready have an estimate of what it cost flying east, so you would only be out the money from the races that you are not going with the nationalas i think the vote, stated we go it alone.

On the contrary Danny these companies are not so Straight forward and make NO MISTAKE, start squandering the Feds money and you'll SOON find that the members DO CARE what happens to the purses, no matter how RICH we are perceived to be!!
Guest bigda Posted October 23, 2011 Report Posted October 23, 2011 wrong the vote was the route we take and the racepoints "not go it alone"and do you think the guys that race from east are going to vote for 2 inland west route nationals, could you explain that one to the men that voted west flying if the nat men want eastborne On the contrary Danny these companies are not so Straight forward and make NO MISTAKE, start squandering the Feds money and you'll SOON find that the members DO CARE what happens to the purses, no matter how RICH we are perceived to be!!the members would like 3 years subsciptions free, if they are not to get there own transport.
JohnQuinn Posted October 23, 2011 Report Posted October 23, 2011 Canny explain any other mans ideas or proposals Danny, but i was thinking of proposing we only have ONE Inland national in 2012. See if all the talk about too many races bears up to examination
JohnQuinn Posted October 23, 2011 Report Posted October 23, 2011 What ye seem tae be forgetting Danny is that its THE MEMBERS that have made Every decision up to now. That's the ones who bothered to turn up for the AGM i mean. As for the rest, they had the same 8 MONTHS notice of the meeting. I rest my case and i'm off tae bed, guid night Danny.
Guest bigda Posted October 23, 2011 Report Posted October 23, 2011 Canny explain any other mans ideas or proposals Danny, but i was thinking of proposing we only have ONE Inland national in 2012. See if all the talk about too many races bears up to examinationso you have decided the lanarkshire is hiring out the unit, to the national, and having use of the halls, and baskets, whats wrong with us running the show, and us take the Nat doos with our units, at £2- £3 A BIRD after all what do they own. but they try and pull strokes
Guest bigda Posted October 23, 2011 Report Posted October 23, 2011 you talk about tenders we have 2 units of 200 baskets charges for national race £2 per bird first race £50 a basket x 200 = £10,000times 2 units =£20,000, next race £3 per bird £75 per basket based on 25 birds national race 400 baskets x £75= £30,000 2 RACES THE LANARKSHIRE HAS £50,000 TO WARDS BETTER TRANSPORT

JohnQuinn Posted October 24, 2011 Report Posted October 24, 2011 so you have decided the lanarkshire is hiring out the unit, to the national, and having use of the halls, and baskets, whats wrong with us running the show, and us take the Nat doos with our units, at £2- £3 A BIRD after all what do they own. but they try and pull strokes Not to my knowledge Danny, no agreement is in place with ANY other organisation for 2012. The SNFC will probably use the same transporters as this year, Ballochmyle and Midland. Ps. I don't decide Anything
Roland Posted October 24, 2011 Report Posted October 24, 2011 I think Danny is peeing into a head wind. He doesnae even notice he's getting soaking wet :emoticon-0136-giggle: lol :emoticon-0140-rofl: :emoticon-0140-rofl:

The main reason the nat don.t purchase a transporter is easy, financial suicide, spending £100.000 for six races a year and it not being big enough to carry the birdage. Your no even a member of the SNFC. Just you keep to causing bother in lanarkshire.

The small national as you call them don't own their transporter either. They hire them from South Lanarkshire and Glasgow Feds. When it come to the running of the national what would you no about it?. As of living a life of a beggar, have a wee look at your own Feds transporters. I take it your one of these members that do f..k all for your Fed apart from moaning!. Good luck with that.
