ONE DUNCAN CAUGHT EALIER TODAY,  THE LEGS HAVE BEEN REMOVED FOR THE PHOTO

Haggi are getting harder and harder to catch these days as one they are getting scarcer and two I am not as fit as I used to be. I think this cold spell will have played a big part on there mortality due to the sub zero temperatures and the icy conditions on the hill sides. Their legs are so spindly that they are not worth eating so they are discarded as soon as they are caught. If you get a really plump one they don't take a lot of stuffing and are easier to catch.

Them skinny buggers take a bit of catching but boy do I like stuffing them, not too skinny mind I still like a bit of meat on them ;)

The Haggi hunting season is now over and it soon will be time for hunting the Easter bunnies but that is another story ;)
