Guest evilscotsman Posted August 20, 2011 Report Posted August 20, 2011 Im 100% sure there was one of those flying past me towards the wemyss it was the "fingers" at the ends of the wings that i noticed it might have been another type of BOP but it sure looked the same
VAGIN Posted August 20, 2011 Report Posted August 20, 2011 Maybe the other way to look at it they may take over smaller BOPs territory and scare them off and cause confusion Its jus a thought??????
gulkie Posted August 20, 2011 Report Posted August 20, 2011 surely the farmers will fight in our corner now :emoticon-0138-thinking:
Guest evilscotsman Posted August 20, 2011 Report Posted August 20, 2011 Maybe the other way to look at it they may take over smaller BOPs territory and scare them off and cause confusion Its jus a thought?????? maybe so , then again i know next to nothing about BOPs
VAGIN Posted August 23, 2011 Report Posted August 23, 2011 [media]http://news.stv.tv/scotland/tayside/267416-clergyman-attacked-by-sea-eagle-after-it-killed-one-of-his-prize-geese/Check this out on local news tonight
hawked again Posted August 23, 2011 Report Posted August 23, 2011 STV news tonight. Minister's geese attacked by one of these birds in Fife. Ripped the minister's back when he went to help the goose. RSPB said that they will give the man advice on how to protect his birds in the future in case the eagle comes back when it is re-released.

billt Posted August 23, 2011 Report Posted August 23, 2011 And here, This RSPB are a law unto themselves
just ask me Posted August 23, 2011 Report Posted August 23, 2011 its only a matter of time till its a child
geordie1234 Posted August 24, 2011 Report Posted August 24, 2011 RSPB Scotland said the attack was "regrettable". A spokesman added: "Sea eagles only attack humans if they feel threatened." That is what the RSPB said ^ Animals like this should be destroyed just like if a alligator in florida attacks it gets shot the same with sharks these should be no different only *expletive removed* eejits would release animals like this into the wild total idiots
Guest jim2123 Posted August 24, 2011 Report Posted August 24, 2011 rspb will give the minister advice on how to protect his birds what about us and women and CHILDREN mps should be held responsable lobby them now before a child is hurt or WORSE
Guest IB Posted August 24, 2011 Report Posted August 24, 2011 I've merged 'Sea Eagles Attack Cleryman' thread into this. Some members were posting on that to this thread. It was also one of the newly released birds that was involved in the attack. So both threads are very much related: one about an irresponsible act, and the other about a direct consequence of that act.
Guest Owen Posted August 24, 2011 Report Posted August 24, 2011 I know I might seem cynical but the more this sort of thing happens the better it is. The Public are the only hope we have to put pressure on the RSPB. Judging from the interview with the RSPB guy, they will give us all the ammunition we need. I am amazed that the Farmers have been prevented from shooting these evil things because I can tell you that if it were your pet dog that attacked the sheep or even frightened them the Farmer would have the right to shoot it on the spot.I sometimes wonder what kind if idiots we elect to represent us because things that really matter to us are ignored.
just ask me Posted August 25, 2011 Report Posted August 25, 2011 another problem maybe these birds are hand fed and when they get hungry and they have no fear of humans i dont believe a wild bred bird would attack a human jmo
