STV news tonight. Minister's geese attacked by one of these birds in Fife. Ripped the minister's back when he went to help the goose.

RSPB said that they will give the man advice on how to protect his birds in the future in case the eagle comes back when it is re-released.

RSPB Scotland said the attack was "regrettable". A spokesman added: "Sea eagles only attack humans if they feel threatened."

That is what the RSPB said ^

Animals like this should be destroyed just like if a alligator in florida attacks it gets shot the same with sharks these should be no different only *expletive removed* eejits would release animals like this into the wild total idiots

I've merged 'Sea Eagles Attack Cleryman' thread into this. Some members were posting on that to this thread. It was also one of the newly released birds that was involved in the attack. So both threads are very much related: one about an irresponsible act, and the other about a direct consequence of that act.

I know I might seem cynical but the more this sort of thing happens the better it is. The Public are the only hope we have to put pressure on the RSPB. Judging from the interview with the RSPB guy, they will give us all the ammunition we need. I am amazed that the Farmers have been prevented from shooting these evil things because I can tell you that if it were your pet dog that attacked the sheep or even frightened them the Farmer would have the right to shoot it on the spot.

I sometimes wonder what kind if idiots we elect to represent us because things that really matter to us are ignored.
