Hold a darning needle on a 18inch piece of thread over a yb and it will rotate clockwise for a cock and anticlockwise for a hen. This method works for eggs also as long as they are over 12days. I saw this on a John Halstead video and it works 99.9%

A darning needle is 3/4inches similar to an ordinary metal sewing needle. It definetley works and very handy if you are taking late breds and want a certain sex. Best to do when separating or put in individual carboard box and place directly infront of you
