Using Matrix

Does anyone out there use Matrix i know a lot of people swear by it. if so how do you use it how often etc. Also can anyone recommend a good trapping seed.

REDBAND & HEMP

I mix matrix with pick blocks and red grit,use it every day.Trap with crushed peanuts on race days and the odd day through the week,other than that redband,hemp or black rape.

Pigeons Love it.... They see the yellow tub and dive over me when I walk in section. I use 3 times a week in pot. Also use it to entice them to trap

I have a mix i make up myself every year, my doos run up and down with their wings spread like young birds when i put it down to them, every day after feeding. I just drop a few handful's ( 4/5 )on the loft floor between 60 birds. I suppose what i give them would weigh about 6 Oz.

Basically it is 50% grit and broken pick blocks/pick stones, the 0ther 50% is of kibbled peanuts, hemp, red band, hormoform, Red Vita minerals and black minerals. I get the bath out and mix about 20kg's of this and it does me for the old bird season, though my Yb's get it too after feeding.

Yip the matrix made my birds drink a lot more i was putting it in the loft everyday then they were feeding the youngens too much water and making a mess! as soon as a cut it down to 3 times a weeks everything normal!!

 

On the trapping seed i have started using hemp how much is to much jsut a wee sprinkle for each to get them in
