Joined the waiting list for an allotment in Blyth today, just 100 people on the list in front of me, the guy at the top has been waiting for 6 years. Should be half way up the list by the time I leave the RN! :emoticon-0136-giggle:

To be honost I knew there was a long waiting list which is why I stuck my name down now. I've got just under 4 years left to do in the RN so if they offered me one tomorrow it would be no good. Plus I've got 4 years to work on the missus, I've got a spot in my garden I've got my eye on. Maybe drop it in conversation with the neighbours to see what they would make of a loft in my garden and be extra nice to the wife. Just trying to cover all bases for now, as it is I'm based up in Faslane in Helensburgh, which is where I spend most of my time.
