geordie1234 Posted April 5, 2011 Report Posted April 5, 2011 Ryan Giggs gets a lot of money as well, why is he not a loser.Trouble there for these young men, and some find it easy to find.young people are influenced alright,whether we as parents like it or not.There is a way to conduct yourself in all tyhat we do. Each to there own mateWayne Rooney is on 3 times as much money and therefore the press gun for him constantly him and his family pictures of his wife in the paper when she was fat and pregnant! Ryan Giggs doesnt get any of that so lets just sit back for a minute and put yourselve in Wayne Rooney's shoes!

Cogburn Posted April 5, 2011 Report Posted April 5, 2011 Ryan Giggs could've went a stray at one point if I remember correctly.Think there was a Fergie intervention there Some folk percieve Wayne Rooney and John Terry as A***holes.There are most probably people you work with or live beside that you call something similar.The difference is they aren't under public scrutiny by a group that contain some of the biggest losers of all-the English press. The thing that gets me is why people care so much about people like Wayne Rooney and Tiger Woods They are great sportsmen who entertain people with what they do.What they get up to in there own time is their business.People slander these guys with no real knowledge of there circumstances or upbringing-maybe they aren't actually as happy as we'd think £250K a week would make them.

My choice, and can stay away etc. Likewise my kids, I either condone or not condone and allow or don't allow. So have no problem there. BUT when I get uninvited crap spewed into my home then it is offensive. If I was up the pub and some swear like in front of misses then I either accept, move or ask them to tone it down, then make another choice if need be. If I went into friends, or a friend’s house and started swearing I would most likely be ejected. If some one came into my house and started swearing in front of my kids, or grandchildren I’d sling them out! Likewise most of those on here would too. Especially an uninvited guest! Rooney did exactly that. Came into my house and swore in front of my kids…. Never mind he actually earned a little of the £Million a Month he is paid. AND yes I should think he was - like his mates and club and supporters were - well pleased, and so they should be. That doesn’t give him rights to do just as he pleases. Gosh most don’t like, nor accept bad language on these sites, let alone uncalled for and needless swearing in front of my missies and kids in the privacy of my / our home. If I was watching an under 11-football game and someone was swearing at the kids I'd tell them ... did when I refereed and would do so now. It is uncalled for etc. etc. BUT accepted by many now. Hence I have a choice. Rooney didn't give us a choice but invaded my privacy. I would have slapped him, no two ways about that as big and ugly as he is. He deserves a slap. But as he won't get on a decent fined of 3 -4 weeks wages would certainly send out a good and crystal clear message to him and all.

EVERYBODY does it at somepoint.Some people use it in there daily conversation and don't think anything of it.Other people only use it when there angry or when they hurt themselves-so they associate it with this and therefore view people who swear as angry or agressive when really its just the way they speak generally. each to their own

Yes each to their own.... That means they have no right to infringe and force upon others their ways. Each to their own implies a 'Choice' So no argument there.... But that fouled mouth bigot didn't give us a choice... nor a 'Own'. so he is bang out of order...
Guest rodders Posted April 6, 2011 Report Posted April 6, 2011 there is a watershed on tv so if its ok for rooney to run to camera and swear this could lead to no telivised matches before 9pm which means no tv money paid to clubs that really need not just over paid wassacks like rooney personly think club should be fined for not having control of players same as when to many cards are shown and players themselves should pay the fines
