Hi

If you are talking about Devine its not Lanarkshie

but Livingston

Seems to me that we now elect people more concerned

with lining there own pockets that serving the

community that elected them

Minimum age for MPs should be 50 and somebody who has

worked within the area of election. Not somebody

who the main parties tell us he or she is GOOD

for us

Cheers

They are just once again trying to prove to joe public that justice is looking to be done when every single one of them should have been held accountable ,by the way never seen any bankers get jailed and they done us all for billions :emoticon-0138-thinking:

When i was 19 years old i was the Youth representative for Scotland at the TUC Conference in Scarborough. My particular union was COHSE who amalgamated with Nupe to become the now Unison.

Every night of that week, there were Parties held by the various regions (there were 9 throughout Britain) in the top hotels in town, all gratis of course for anyone attending, BUT at the expense of the Branch members monthly contributions and the other funds they raise in their members names. Then when members went on strike there was no money to help them out, because the strike fund had been spent partying all week at conference. I packed the union in shortly after that because i didn't want associated with the people that could do this without as much as a blush. These are the self same people who aspire to become Mp's and many of them do!!!

There are Literally 100's of Mp's on the take in one fashion or another and they will continue to do it. These three who are in prison are only there to satisfy the voters that a Thorough investigation has taken place, MY A R S E!!

when we went on strike the union took 50 guys on a trip to Edinburgh cwu head quarters where we met no other than alan johston now mp

after our rallying call from mr johnston we were fed ,filled with drink all free of course

as we were used to start wildcat strikes all over the uk when i look back it pisses me off greatly

I agree in Levenshulme Manchester we had a man voted in who needed a translater because he could not speak English and when investigated he was an illegal he cost the taxpayer thousands because every council meeting had to be translated. ( labour council ) and they didn't got rid of him

My brother in law a life long union man who retired early on a fantastic index linked pension who had a car supplied by the union for many a year and a reduced rate mortage as you said John on the backs of members subs. He went at least once a month to some hotel for one coarse or another all over the country and sometimes abroad they all p_ss in the same pot. You wont see him blush if you ask him about it just the opposite

What many seem to not realise is that the Chameleon told the 'Watchdog Board' that their recomendations were too strict and would be discarded unles slacken.... Now believe it believe it not, those 'Fiddles' are now LEGAL' and HE wept!
