Linda Posted April 23, 2007 Report Posted April 23, 2007 It's been a while since the end of the Auction, and nothing's been said about the proceeds and recipients. I know a good friend of mine was mentioned many times by many people as a receipient due to losing everything he has including all his pigeon stuff (except for the birds obviously) to a house fire, but nothing seems to have been said on the subject. Just wondering if there was any update yet

The fund is overseen by a committee of five members of the Pigeonbasics.com Forum plus the Webmaster. Their role is to hear and decide upon applications; and also to promote and uphold the integrity of the fund. theres was no committee when i did the last auction, i did it all myself and the webmaster took the money in

Cheers Ian I BELEIVE IT WAS SET UP FOR VICTIMS OF ARSON AND LOSS OF PIGEONS (THEFT),AND I ALSO BELEIVE THAT A GREAT DEAL OF THE DONATERS GAVE BIRDS THINKING IT WAS FOR MARK (SUPERSTAR) WHO WE ALL KNOW HAD A REALLY BAD TIME,BECAUSE I FOR ONE WOULD NOT OF DONATED IF I THOPUGHT THIS WOULD HAPPEN THEY NEED HELP NOW NOT NEXT WEEK ARE THE WEEK AFTER
