called out to day and came across the lanarkshire trailers, was totally shocked

at the appearance of one in particular,

namely the one they call the number 1 trailer, the total flat bed floor is rotted away, and this is normally made from

cedar pine these 2 transporters are facing north and south open and exposed to all the elements. there are signs of it having a coat of red paint from last year and i can tell you now, this was not done professionally, as most of the angle iron

has not even been under coated, from where i see these trailers, they are in bad shape and neglected as far as i can see, and if there was money spent on it last year i would find that very hard that any one would have paid the bloke who will put there name to there work, the whole wooden floor is gone rotted away and the federation will have to see to this we have spent fortunes on these trailers over the years and the workman ship is horrendous

if any one knows as to why these trailers have fell into such a state pm bigda here to help

,as this is going to cost us all plenty

no one will convince me these trailers

where looked after this ,these trailers are in a yard in Coatbridge and i suggest if your out and about go and have a look, and should they have to be repaired, it will not be by any cowboy ever again :emoticon-0126-nerd:and moneys dished out Willy nilly

the gravey train stops now ps the tyres look suspect also. dont know if they where replaced last year, but if they where well some one has swaped them ,as we would only do 5,000 mile max a year and a new tyres has more life that that

The baskets are stored by clubs in winter time

am sure the fed would get the trailers under cover if they paid the going rate but we don't

We can see the wood is rotten Danny but the crates are not on the wood ,they rest in the angle iron's but that is not an excuse to let them rot away

with all the men the fed know that have fixed anything, be it baskets trailers and painting, we are now in such a state,at one time we had £90,000 in the bank we are now, lucky to have £60,000 left I think I will put in a guess estimate for to

patch the floor, and touch up paint work, well as long as i dont use no more that small pot full. total £8,500.45

ill do you a good cheap job lads :emoticon-0138-thinking:
