This is a great site that has many interesting and imformative posts, many people recieve help and advice through this site and many friends are made.

 

Threads such as the pigeon in the kitchen, Billy McKechnie, Arson attack in fife show what an important place and shop window for pigeon racing pigeon basics is.

 

There are many many good people on this site and its obvious that we will not all get on all of the time but we must stop these mindless idiots coming onto the site under false names, pretending to someone or something and attacking all in sundry esp when its members who have been contributin for many years.

 

I just dont see the point in it. This is a great place and we must all fit to keep it that way.

Another thing Stuart, is if I visit you in Bristol when I am down at my daughters and log on using you computer then you may be accused of double identity,

No you can't hide it on the site, you can change it but that is a lot of work :-/

yes madam iv'e seen the software but god that is an awful lot of trouble just to log in as a different person on a pigeon site

Think you can using a proxy server or so i been told but it was all a bit above me understanding it

 

You can even use a ghost :-/

Some isp's have fixed addresses some have roaming addresses. So its not always that easy to know if one has 2 accounts. I could also using my wireless and log on using next doors account or the local library connection.

Some people are a bit bashful when voicing an oppinion, that's a fact, and many more are coupled with the fact that they wish to just post and not have a debate, let alone someone they know spouting codswallop at their' expence.

These posters are entitled to the same code and ethics as anyone else, and without a non de plume wouldn't probably even look in, let alone post.

The spikers are a different matter and if from same computer should be named.

Simple really as all computers leave their number with every post.

Know of a site where the code comes up with every post... no doesn't stop any flak, but does stop folks having 2 or more posting names.
