hi ive spoken to the sec they have around 40 members

think u/ secretary tellin porkie pies mate ,after 4 clubs (kilbarchan/johnstone/bridge of weir and barrhead) leaving to join glasgow today ,they will be lucky to have 10/12 members is this not the REAL REASON for asking for new members ? all thats left in the west strath fed is greenock members( around 8/10 members) and one or 2 that resigned from kilbarchan and u talk about argyle ha ha i dont think any of them have raced birds for the last 2/3 years am i correct? of course i am ,

Go with the SHU and race with the Lanarkshire Fed.You know it makes sense as within 5 years we will all be together flying the flag for Bonnie Scotland.

I no this is of topic but what you are stating is 100% correct was speaking to a mate this week and he had tossed 35 hen birds from his race team in cumbria early morning last week and by three in the afternoon had only twelve return and some of those with peregrine injuries :emoticon-0179-headbang:

STUART THE BOP ALWAYS COME INTO IT but ive posted many times beforeabout mono filament netting 6 @1/4 inch if you want your birds protected against sparrow hawks all low flying hawks if they try and take a bird in your garden they have to hedge hop if this net is up1 and a half meters they hit the net fall down into the baged aera and impossible to escape till you remove it i think its £100 for 200meters out o any NET MANUFACTURERS IF A FEW WENT TOGETHER IT WOULD BE A CHEAP WAY O PROTECTING YOUR BIRDS and relocating them to any hawk santuary
